CSP Congress 2009
Founders Lecture speaker: five-times Olympic gold medal winner, rower Sir Steve Redgrave, has kindly agreed to give the Founders Lecture.
CSP Congress 2009 is an international conference for physiotherapy professionals, presented by the educational, professional and trade union body of 48,000 of the UK's physiotherapists, students and associates.
This year's Congress will take place at the Liverpool Arena and Convention Centre on 16-17 October 2009.

The programme
The 2009 programme comprises clinical and occupational sessions, research-based and workshop-based sessions within six themes:
- cardio-respiratory
- education and leadership
- health, work and wellbeing
- musculoskeletal
- neurology
- preparing for 2012 Olympics and beyond
There's also a selection of specialist seminars running throughout and the World Cafe will offer the delegates the chance to discuss some of the big issues in an informal environment during lunch and break times.
Call for abstracts
Abstract submission for Congress 2009 has now closed. The reviewing panel will contact submitters with news of whether their abstract(s) have been accepted by the end of March 2009. Thanks to all of you who made a submission.

Congress 2008
Congress 2008 took place on 17-18 October at Manchester Central Convention centre. DVDs of the keynote speakers' main presentations will be distributed free to all members in early 2009.
